Trailer

If life ended tomorrow, what would you do today?

Diego Mascherpa was thirty, with two degrees in chemistry. The path ahead looked set: work, travel, flight. Returning from a job in Arabia, he learned he had a brain tumor, a cerebellar astrocytoma. The life he had built was turned over.

Seventeen operations on the brain followed. Some lasted eleven or twelve hours. Six months passed between life and death, then years of treatment and rehabilitation. The film stays with that time, and with the decision to begin again, piece by piece.

He photographs again, and he flies again, in his own way. Because a life, when it is real, does not go out. It changes. Diciassette asks one question. If life ended tomorrow, what would you do today?

The others counted the operations. I knew I was risking my life. I counted the days until I could fly again, move again, hold a camera. Today every photograph is proof that I made it. That I am still here.
